GyPSii® OEx Open Experience

Overview

The GyPSii® OpenExperience API ("OEx") is the world’s first all-inclusive platform for incorporating location-based social networking functionality into 3rd party applications. OEx allows GyPSii partners to enhance their own products and services with the rich features, content, and community of the GyPSii Mobile Social Network, leveraging GyPSii’s vast, international infrastructure.

Unlike other social networking "platforms" that expose only a tiny subset of functionality, the OEx API is the same platform on which GyPSii's own clients are built, and it makes core GyPSii functionality available to our partners.

Key Services

The OEx API provides everything necessary to create a full social networking client, including:

  • User Generated Content – Bring meaning to your world by creating and sharing geo-tagged GyPSii Places, Photos, Videos, and Notes. Explore and comment on content from friends and other GyPSii members.
  • Friends – Create and manage relationships with other GyPSii members, or invite new friends to join. Find out where friends are and what they are doing.
  • Explore – Find what you need, where you need it—nearby friends, user-generated content, and other points-of-interest, such as restaurants, gas stations, and museums.
  • Communication – Keep in touch with friends via GyPSii Messages, email, and more.
  • Profile – Tell the community about yourself—What are your interests? Where did you go to school? Most importantly, what are you doing and where?
  • Advertising – Monetize your investment using GyPSii's integrated location-based, contextual advertising service.
